I've done a little transitioning and deleting apps but I still have hold outs like a few chess apps, bank, Chronometer, Amazon, and others (among some FOSS apps) that I use as Android apps based on convenience, quality, or whatever.

What apps do you prefer over the browser? And are there any that don't have that great of an alternative that are acceptable?
