What actually happens when you delete your Snapchat account?

When you delete your Snapchat account, what happens to my profile’s visibility to other users? Can they see our conversations in their chat feed? Or is my presence on the app completely wiped out?

Lastly, what happens to snaps or chats that were saved by the other person within the app?
