Warning: either Amazon or their delivery contractors sell your phone numbers to spammers!

I made a new phone number and didn't have the chance yet to give it to anyone, but gave it to Amazon to get sms notifications for deliveries so I'll know when to be home when they arrive. As it turns out, after signing up and getting the first delivery I started getting spam calls from salesmen which is a rare even in itself and only Amazon knew my number!

Is there anything that can be done to stop spams …
