US political party domains targeted by Chinese hackers as midterms near

More than 100 U.S. state-level political party domains were identified by the National Security Agency to have been scanned by Chinese state-sponsored threat actors ahead of the midterm polls next month, and certain Democrat and Republican state party headquarters have been informed by the FBI regarding potential compromise, reports The Washington Post.
