University Wifi and Search History/Privacy

I connected to one of my school’s wifi that required no credentials like a student ID and password, open to any guest.

What can they see within my laptop? More specifically, will they see my search history?

For search history, I mean the sites I’ve visited BEFORE I connected to the wifi, rather than the ones after (which they def see).
