University employee laptop travel programs going to high risk countries?

Hey there, I'm tasked with researching what other universities travel PC programs look like. Specifically, what measures they do when faculty or staff go to "high risk" countries like China, Russia, etc and what they do to their laptops if at all. Anyone have any ideas or experience in this?
