Understanding ELK, Kibana, ElasticSearch, Filebeat, and Nifi

This report provides an overview of the ELK stack, including ElasticSearch, Logstash, and Kibana, as well as the lightweight shipper Filebeat and the data integration platform Nifi. It discusses the features and use cases of each tool and their importance in modern data infrastructure.

System requirements:

• Ubuntu 22.04 server with 4GB RAM and 2 CPUs set
• OpenJDK 11 installed
• Nginx (will reverse proxy for Kibana)
