An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause libjpeg-turbo to consume resource, leading to a denial of service. This issue only affected Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. It was discovered that libjpeg-turbo incorrectly handled certain malformed jpeg files. An attacker could possibly use this issue to cause libjpeg-turbo to crash, resulting in a denial of service.
