Two phone Phone OPSec question

I have a company phone, i am close to positive they don't monitor anything on my phone but I can't say the same for the telecom. As I have to travel and this phone has international everything I do use it.

Question is: Since this work phone is tied to my name, is there much value in only use it for tethering purposes with my rom flashed phone? I assume that its better to instlal apps on rom flashed phone …
