Tutanota Privacy Email deletes inactive account?

So I just got Proton Mail recently, and I also got a new client recently. But I can't connect the both cause apparently I need to pay for Proton services in order to use it on ANOTHER that also has their own services. I find that to be weird in a bad way cause I only wants one client, not 2, kinda feel forced in a way, don't mind about the rest of Proton plans though.
