TS clearance in Cybersecurity

Hello everyone,

I was lurking a bit on this reddit page and I noticed some negativity towards government work with a security clearance in Cybersecurity due to slowness of the work environment and lower pay compared to the private sector. I was wondering if this was true even when working as a contractor for the government with a TS?
