Trying to understand DRM

So, how bad is it if I run a DRM website on browser say Firefox?? (not Google Chrome or M$ Edge)
ex. Spotify webapp
According to EFF:
Instead DRM helps big business stifle innovation and competition by making it easy to quash "unauthorized" uses of media and technology.
But isn't it DRM less powerful on a website??
