Tools to detect spyware on a network?

My iPhone may be infected with spyware but I can't find any information on how to detect it besides dumb articles listing "the 10 obvious ways to tell a phone has a stalkware: being slow, etc...". However, I suppose there is specialized traffic analysis software for this job. What tools or network devices are best suited to detect it?
