Threat modeling topics

Trying to get some input about threat modeling. So my manager(think he just did CISSP) is kind of married to “thread modeling” ! I am a product security engineer (who mostly manage vulnerability and do penetration testing). I also understand threat modeling and my penetration testing skills compliment to it.
