Thoughts on Google proposal to cut SSL/TLS certificate lifetime to 90 days?

On March 3, Google shared its “Moving Forward, Together” roadmap with the intention to reduce the maximum public TLS certificate validity to 90 days in either “a future policy update or a CA/B Forum Ballot Proposal"

Not here to talk about Let's Encrypt vs The Certificate Authorities. Or indeed the way the CA's seem to have rolled over for Google.

How are you automating the Certificate life cycle? ACME? middleware? Something else?
