I have recently become aware of Filen\[dot\]io, an e2ee cloud storage provider with a fairly generous free plan, and low-ish cost free options.

On paper it seems attractive--but still new/somewhat unknown:

1. 10gb free plan (reasonably priced paid plans)
2. End-to-End, Zero Knowledge encryption
3. Apps are open source, server side is not (same as Protondrive)
4. Website and API have been audited, full security audit is on the roadmap but not completed (or started)
5. Cross platform (Web, Desktop …
