The most prolific malware strains of 2021 are yesterday's news with a modern twist

Many of the top malware used in 2021 has been in circulation for at least five years, while two others — Qakbot and Ursnif — have been used in hacking campaigns for more than a decade, according to U.S. and Australian cyber agencies.
