Much like any other system/platform, Kubernetes has a lot of components to secure. Everything from where it’s running to how it’s running to the containers running inside of it. Without proper security in a Kubernetes environment, there are a lot of holes that potential attackers and bad actors can get through from the infrastructure layer all the way down to the code layer.
