After enabling Apple’s Advanced Data protection, which one is more secure, iMessage or Telegram (default chat, not secret)

I’m curious because based on that I might take a decision for texting people. I am aware of multiple Telegram features which are better than iMessage, however my question is just for the privacy and security aspect. Thanks!
