Telegram accounts keep getting banned within a few hours of making..?

Wanted to join telegram, didn’t want to use my personal number - went to the shop and got a 99p SIM card. Put the SIM card in the phone, used the number to make a telegram account, as texts work instantly. I barely did anything and the next day I tried logging in and it said the number was banned - this was over a month ago.

Today I decided to try again - went and got another 99p SIM …
