Hi There:
I've been overly reliant on Google products for a few years--much more than most (Google Fi, Google Wifi, Nest, Pixel, YouTubeTV, GMail, Google Photos, etc., all linked). While I'm sure it's somewhat too late at this point, I've decided to deGoogle altogether, but I'm frankly completely illiterate when it comes to understanding this stuff and could use a very basic breakdown of alternatives.
