I have tried to take my privacy and security serious for the last couple of years. I haven't really done much over that time except use a password manager, (V)PN, custom domain with anonymous email addresses for different services, use MFA for everything that enables it, and switch to Linux for my personal computers. I know that's already a big step ahead of most. I don't know enough about technology or privacy/security to keep anything sophisticated going long term.
