If I'm understanding correctly, it is a security processor(like TPM) which is in the CPU and it will be upgraded via windows update. Do correct me if I'm wrong.
Then if that is true, then even if the person does switch to a different operating system the story would be the same, microsoft is still able to track you and pluton will work like normal as it's in the processor and not a software(Again, do correct if I'm wrong)
