i raised the issue to do their due diligence about ensuring how to effectively wipe the info so it cant be recovered. to my understanding sometimes there must be more done than factory resetting, especially on androids, in order to ensure that information cannot be recovered.
family member was defensive and has dealt with identity fraud/credit fraud multiple times due to lack of understanding how cybersecurity risk …
