a family member is selling an old android phone, 2018/2019 ish samsung model.

i raised the issue to do their due diligence about ensuring how to effectively wipe the info so it cant be recovered. to my understanding sometimes there must be more done than factory resetting, especially on androids, in order to ensure that information cannot be recovered.
