We just posted my colleague's article on how we (NetFoundry) used our technology to secure SaltStack in our cloud nodes. Obviously, this was to avoid a repeat of the Salt vulnerability from last year, but shows how we operate cloud based nodes in providers around the world securely, with full functionality. If you're interested in Zero Trust, or specifically how to protect tools like Salt, give it a read.
