Request: (US) phone number service that does NOT support text messaging.

I know landlines exist but I'm hoping for a different solution. I would like a secondary phone number to give to non-friends (companies, services, etc..) that has no texting service. I'm tired of being auto-opted in to receive text messages with no real way to opt out.
