Reporting Issues to CyberSecurity Teams

First off I am not part of IT or the team managing any of the cyber security stuff. Just a regular user with a few certs, home lab, and a love for cybersecurity topics.

With that out of the way, my question. We had a network breach a couple months ago. IT/security teams came up some fixes in an attempt to thwart future incidents. A couple of these were more complex passwords and a yubikey.
