There was a post from about a year ago asking "What happened to Removaly?"

[https://www.reddit.com/r/privacy/comments/ywaaf8/what\_happened\_to\_removaly\_they\_were\_the\_best\_most/](https://www.reddit.com/r/privacy/comments/ywaaf8/what_happened_to_removaly_they_were_the_best_most/)

Turns out Removaly was acquired by Duck Duck Go. Source: [https://x.com/FounderKyle/status/1778440606269710365](https://x.com/FounderKyle/status/1778440606269710365)

(I was going to respond on the original reddit thread above, but it's archived so comments are closed.)

I'm not a privacy expert, but this strikes me as good news for people that were concerned that Removaly had sold out. Thoughts?

Either way, belated congrats to Kyle of Removaly on the acquisition 👏
