Reddit tells me I have no comments - yet search engines still show plenty of undeleted comments

So I have been clearing out data on my main account and removed all comments (editing before deleting too) and I thought I was good...

My main account has no comments when you check the profile page, but upon checking various search engines, by selectively searching under my username, I have found more existing comments that don't show up on my profile - but still exist?
