As stated in the title I recently noticed Reddit appending the parameter, **rdt**, to the url such that you would get the following:

reddit.com -> reddit.com/?rdt=12345

Is that a part of their profiling and tracking efforts against adblockers, particularly for anonymous users? An internet search brought me to Reddit's website on Ads Pixel Retargeting and there I found a brief mention of **rdt**.
