Reddit app recommending me communities I viewed on my laptop when logged out of my account. How is this possible?

I’ll view a community on my laptop while logged out of my Reddit account but a couple of minutes later when I go onto the app, my account home page is suggesting me the subreddits “because I visited this community before”. How is this possible?
