I have a big /r/selfhosted lab with a full DNS domain for my systems. Obviously I exploit it giving my servers a nice URL like https://service.mydomain.tld instead of accessing everything with URLs like http://192.168.1.45:3000.

Today I accessed my Grafana dashboard and I noticed that it loaded their "news" calling their domain but adding a nice HTTP header like "Referer: https://service.mydomain.tld".

People, this is not nice. It could be nothing but it bugs me a lot that my internal domain got …
