Rant: Certs and Exp. don’t matter anymore? Needing a degree in a “Technical” field now? Wtf?

Recruiter for a large defense company emailed me about an soc analyst role that I qualified for. I’ve had 3rd parties contact me for this position and applied on my owned multiple times and always get rejected or my app never got any attention. Come to find out, I get emailed that my bachelors in business admin. from almost 10 yrs ago doesn’t meet the requirement, go figure, another hurdle.
