cybersecurity www.reddit.com

With 10 years of experience in Cybersecurity, I wonder if it’s not worth it leaving my cozy well-paid government job and start doing some private consulting. (Vulnerability assessments, monitoring and response, training, etc)

I work of high level stuff and I’ve been noticing that none of the cybersecurity space makes sense to small businesses.

- Any advice on leaving a cozy job and start a solo consulting business ?

- What’s your opinion on cybersecurity in small businesses ?

Just …

assessments consulting cybersecurity cybersecurity job doing etc experience government high job monitoring paid private response space start training vulnerability work
