Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

I have a whole host of privacy add-ons for my typical browsing experience, but I remember reading a blog post about cyber security that said that most of the functionality of these privacy add-on's can be replicated by Ublock Origin, and that additional add-ons like this are actually a larger security risk.

Is this true? If so how do I know which one's are necessary? Is there a guide on how to do this?
