Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age

When I did a Google search of my name, I saw a bunch of personal information. I've moved around a bunch in the past 10 years, and all my past addresses, phone numbers, etc were online. I spent a couple hours getting my info removed, but it's annoying.

So... I'll be moving again in a few months, and I want to figure out how to stop my address from getting out there this time. Seriously, how do these companies even …
