I'm aware this is probably a stupid question, but I don't know enough about the area to know, hence my question here.
Is there a reason that firewalls/spam detection becoming better won't replace the need for many cybersecurity professionals? For example, with advances in 'intelligent' technologies improving the ability of programs to detect and presumably eventually eradicate certain kinds of intruders on the network, is there a reason that some centrally managed database of threats for each industry couldn't …
