Privacy & Freedom in the Information Age www.reddit.com

So I've got a domain name "domain.com" from "domcompany.com" so that when they write me at "hello@domain.com" it forwards it to "myusername@protonmail.com" . My question is, what can domcompany.com do with my e-mail? Can they read it?
