Are there any programs similar to Emule where you can search, download, and share files P2P but more privacy focused?

I know Tribler, but it's not widely used, so I'm just wondering if there are any privacy friendly alternatives?

Not Torrents, because you need to search them in websites, which are not censorship resistant and sometimes a fraud.
