potential hack or is this normal

I got a website targeting a one country which is kuwait ,yesterday the website was running slow so I had my developers check the issue and found out I got a huge traffic coming in and outside kuwait.

my question is this a possible hack attempt or something to gather data about our website or could this possibly be a search engine bots I have heard about those.
