Phone number privacy

What do you do for your phone number? After I started using email aliases I will probably never give out my real email again. I feel similarly about my phone number. But for phone numbers I use mysudo. And using mysudo with a degoogled device SUCKS for more reasons that just the push notifications. Is there a simple solution to this? What do you use or recommend?
