Phishing Campaigns

Greetings. I watched a 3 part series about phishing assessments on YouTube by Graham Helton. The approach taken is registering a lookalike domain and impersonating someone from the organization like the sys admin.

I'm planning an assessment but it would be difficult getting a lookalike domain because the target domain tld is not available from general registrars like namecheap or godaddy.

What would be a recommended approach that would still have the same level of impact?
