PayPal’s 2FA is flawed

I recently set up 2FA using an authenticator app for my PayPal account. After setting it up, I realize that I didn’t get any backup/recovery codes like how *every* platform would give you after setting up 2FA via authenticator app.

I called PayPal and asked why didn’t I get any backup codes, and the agents didn’t know what I was talking about… I had to speak to multiple different agents to finally get an answer that PayPal does not provide …
