Other events similar to GrrCON?

I went to GrrCON yesterday and it was awesome. So nice to not get harassed by badge scanners. Does anybody know of similar regional events like this in the U.S.? I have no interest in attending Black Hat/RSA/etc. and witnessing how much $$ vendors are willing to burn on ridiculous booths/parties.
