Opinion: We should rebuild the web using cryptographic hashpuzzle-based spam resistance, and eliminate the need for IP tracking and Google captcha.

Spam resistance on the web is currently ruled by Google captcha and heavy-handed IP and identity tracking. IP/identity tracking is currently filling a need, albeit very weakly: In order to prevent DOS attacks against servers, at the very least if nothing else you need to ban or throttle the IPs of those who seem to be attacking you.
