Offered my first security role. It’s the night shift. Should I take it?

Hey folks! I’ve been in IT for a little over a year. I’ve just received a verbal offer for my first SOC position! It will be 3rd shift, so 12am-8am, or 10pm-8am. I’m basically in the NYC metro area, but it’s fully remote. They are offering $68k, unlimited PTO, equity in the company, etc. For reference, I currently make $51k with 2 weeks vacation.


Is night shift the worst? I think it will open up more doors for me down …
