Numerous Hotmail sign-in attempts per day

When I go to my Hotmail’s “view recent activity” I find a couple attempts per day. It’s been like this for few months now. I am constantly getting the Authenticator app asking me if it’s me signing in and to choose a number or deny the sign-in.

Is this normal? Is there anything I can do to protect myself better?
I am using authenticator and I have my phone number attached to it too.
