Notesnook free plan vs built-in Apple notes app?

I am not tech savvy at all and I can't afford to pay for a subscription for a notes app or switch phones (I have an iPhone).

I really like the look and function of the Apple notes app. I like that I can make things bold or make a list or a checklist and that it syncs between my phone and my computer.
