In an increasingly digital world, the ways users can exploit technology to harm others, or “abusability", must be addressed. This talk will explore the ways in which personal trackers are used by perpetrators to stalk victims. Privacy advocates will discuss how nonconsensual tracking works, as well as mitigation and prevention tactics, safety planning, and how to respond through advocacy.
