Need advice: work is forcing me to install Lookout Mobile app on my phone

They say the app does not read, review, scan, or collect personal information from emails, texts, photos, or browsing history, but it is always running “scans” in the background.
The app can also block me from accessing websites or other apps until I get permission from work to whitelist them.
